This is a private, guided tour of Lisbon's most famous monuments and modern avenues by minivan or sedan. An extensive full-day tour through the city, combining all the ancient and historic quarters with the most modern parts of the town. Get the best views from some of the seven hills and enjoy some free time to visit the most important monuments and/or do some shopping. Discover what makes Lisbon one of the most enjoyable travel destinations in Europe.The tour begins at 08:30 with the pickup from your hotel, apartment or ship. Eight hours ensures enough time to enjoy the program without any hurrying involved.
The first stop will be at the downtown area's Baixa District, the squares of Restauradores and Rossio and the Cathedral of Lisbon, stopping for photos and, time permitting, a visit to the interior of the church.

Next stop is the castle and the inside of the Alfama Disctrict and then the Graça quarter for some of the most beautiful views of the city. Afterward, it's off to the Moorish quarter, then the most important avenue of the city with its Eduardo VII Park at the top.

The 18th century Aqueduct is the next point of interest, before proceeding to Chiado, where you can enjoy the opposite view of the castle before heading to the Belém area where the Monument to the Discoveries is located. Jerónimos Monastery, the Tower of Belém and the Discoveries Monument are the most emblematic monuments of the Portuguese discoveries era. Free time to visit one or more of these monuments before lunch (not included).

After lunch, the tour will resume back along the river to the Terreiro do Paço Square, the central square of Lisbon and one of the largest in Europe. Proceed to the eastern part of the city, by the Casa dos Bicos, Fado Museum, the Train Station of Santa Apolónia and the national Pantheon.

Finally, you'll be taken to the Expo 98 area, a totally new area of the city with museums, gardens and a great complicity with the River Tagus. Return to the hotel by 18:00
