Join this day tour to feel the pulse of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, its capital and largest city. You will visit Independence Square and the famous Petronas Twin Towers. For a look at the city’s past, take in the 1910 Moorish-inspired Old Railway Station, King Palace and National Museum. Explore the Batu Caves located in Gombak. The tour will end with an opportunity to shop at Royal Selangor Visitor Center and Batik Center.You will be picked up from your hotel lobby in the morning by our professional tour guide and head to Independence Square. This square is very much a part of history being the place that British rule ended and the birthplace of a nation.
We will then move on the Petronas Twin Towers for photography, the tallest building in the world, provides a bird’s-eye view of the cosmopolitan metropolis. Please note that the entrance tickets is not included. The King’s Palace, a great placed to visit and photo taking.
A short walk from King’s Palace, we will explore and learn some history of Malaysia at National Museum. You will see wide range assortment of collections here. We will drive past the Lake Garden before arriving at The National Monument, to see the well characterized monument commemorating Malaysia's struggle for freedom.
Next, we will visit National Mosque and Old Railway Station. This railway station was built during the British colonization of Malaysia and it used to be the main railway station of KL city before being replaced by KL Sentral. Don’t forget to capture some photos of this beautiful building.
We stop at Royal Selangor Visitor Center a well-known brand worldwide, take a chance to visit the factory (which includes some nice shopping options) to see how it’s made can be interesting to many, especially the kids who can try their hand at shaping their own piece of pewter.
Finally, we will visit Batu Caves located in Gombak, a great place to get some physical activity with all the steps (272 steps) to climb up to the top. So, please bring some water with you and ladies are recommended to wear long pant. There are lots of monkeys wandering around, so be careful with your belongings.
On the way back to Kuala Lumpur, we will stop at local Malaysia Batik Center, this place is a one stop center for anyone who wants to get a reasonable price and quality batik selection. If you're feeling artistic they offer the opportunity for you to actually create your own batik masterpiece. You will be drop-off at your hotel after the trip.
