Uncover the different faces of Sabah by visiting one of the most interesting 'Tamu' in the region, set in Kota Belud, home to the 'Cowboys of the East'. Visit the Tamu Kota Belud – a colorful melting pot of hawkers, vendors, farmers, fishermen and cattle breeders alike. You may even get a glimpse of the Bajau Horsemen and their splendid sword making. Drive past oil-palm coconut plantations on your way to Gombizou and Sumangkap village and see honey bee farming. Later, visit the longhouse at Bavanggazo village and see where one of Sabah's indigenous tribes reside.

You will then be taken an approximately 3 hour journey north through Kota Belud – a special place to Bajau Horsemen in the old days. Your journey will continue on to Kudat, which is located in the most northern part of Sabah. It is here that you will be able to meet and observe the Rungus Tribe.
Life for the local people here revolves around rice planting and handcrafting baskets, beds and clothes. Rungus women still use a blackstrap hand-loom to weave their traditional attire made of cotton which they grow themselves.
You will have the opportunity to visit a traditional Longhouse. Immerse yourself in the culture of it all as you visit a village that runs a cottage industry including bee farming and gong making.
Once the day is complete, you will be taken back to your hotel.
