On cold days, stay warm in an ice hut. From November to March, you'll catch rainbow trout, bull trout and more!Start your day with a pick up from your Pemberton or Whistler accommodation at 7am and spend 9 hours fishing with your knowledgeable guide. Ice starts forming in lakes in November and lasts through the end of March. Your guide will choose between lakes in Pemberton or Whistler depending on conditions.
All fishing equipment is provided, as well as a tasty lunch. All you need is a valid British Columbia Freshwater Fishing License, which can be purchased at www.fishing.gov.bc.ca. Additionally, on colder days, ice huts and heaters are brought to help keep you warm. As you sit around an 8" hole drilled by an ice auger you will fish for rainbow trout, bull trout, kokanee, cutthroat trout and pike minnows. This is truly an experience like no other. Once you have completed your tour, your guide will drive you back to your accommodation.
