Hit the beach in style with this whole day tour of the islands and reefs of Hunda Bay, Puerto Princesa. With its rich marine biodiversity, Hunda Bay is touted as the Philippines' Last Frontier. On this activity, you'll get to bask under the tropical sun, listen to the calming waves of the sea and get to meet different people in your tour group.Your full-day tour starts at 7am when you are picked-up at your hotel. You will be driven 20 minutes from the town to the wharf. Snorkel equipment can be rented here before you jump on the boat. If you do not have equipment, we recommend making the investment as you wouldn't want to miss out.
You will then be transferred by boat to Luli Island. Luli is a play on the local dialect's words "lulubog-lilitaw," which indirectly means "now you see it, now you don't." This is because the island is visible only when the tide is low and becomes underwater as soon as it gets high. You will spend about an hour on this island; you can snorkel, swim and sun bathe.
After your stay on Luli island, you will proceed to Pambato Reef where you can snorkel with amazing marine life. You will see giant clams, colorful fish and live corals.
After these stops, you will then have your lunch at Cowrie Island. This is where you will stay the longest. You can top off your tan on the white sand beach or just feast on the delicious lunch specially prepared by the staff on the island. You will then head back to the city on board a motorized Banca,which will only take about 30 minutes to reach the wharf. Your tour will conclude when you are returned to your hotel.
