The day will end up with an exhilarating evening Cretan BBQ as you get to know the authentic Greek food, hospitality and way of life, and listen to locals talk about Cretan traditions.After meeting your local guide at 9:00am, start with a visit to a local flea market in order to purchase the required ingredients for a lavish Cretan BBQ, such as fresh vegetables, fish, raki, wine and cheese, all from local producers. Then hit the coastal ring road, Sofokli Venizelou Avenue, on Heraklion Municipal bikes, visiting many sights, hot-spots and places of interest along the way, such as Dominican Church of Saints Peter and Paul, the Historical Museum Square and the Pancretan Olympic Stadium.

After a full day of cycling, walking and sightseeing, you will be rewarded with an exhilarating evening BBQ at your guide's own large backyard, where you will take an active part in preparing and enjoying exquisite Cretan dishes and delis, all hand-prepared on the spot and accompanied by Cretan wine and raki.
