We will show you all the four faces of Iceland, from roaring waterfalls, energetic volcanoes, the farmlands of the south and the Black Beaches of Vik.
Experienced and glacier certified guides will take you on this adventure of a lifetime. Ever wondered what it feels like to stand behind a curtain of the thundering waters of a waterfall?
Wonder no more as this tour will take you to the beautiful Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This is after you have enjoyed a relaxed walk along the black pebble & basalt sand beaches at Reynisfjara. Basalt columns rise out of the sea like something out of the Lord of the Rings films.
While on the beach you get to witness the Gardar, a fascinating rock formation which is the subject of local folklore. We will head to the breathtaking Skógafoss waterfall for our final stop of the tour.
Here you will get a rare opportunity to climb up 60 meters right next to the wall of water making up the falls. From the top you will stand in awe of the mass of water, feel the spray on your face and if the sun is on our side witness the colourful rainbows forming.
As with any tour or trip, it is more than just reaching your destination. The drive between all the sights is filled with beautiful scenery as well as historically important towns and monuments. You will see the notorious volcanoes Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull as we drive through rich farmland and the villages of the South Shores.
This is a road trip in every sense of the word with the opportunity to learn about viking history along the way. Further to the South just off the coast are the Westman Islands which can be viewed from the foot of the mighty Eyjafjallajökull.
