Enjoy light lunch of Japanese style rice balls "onigiri" and dinner of fresh bread made by a popular local bakery served in bento boxes.You will be picked up at the designated meeting point (please see Departure Point for details) and then start heading to the Sorachi Distrct of Hokkaido where the famous lavender fields "Farm Tomita" in Furano.
Relax at the large and beautiful lavender field and enjoy the refreshing aroma for approx. 2 hours. Stroll around the field, take some memorable photos, or shop at the local stores. You can also stop by the cafe at the farm and enjoy some snacks or soft cream of unique local flavors, such as lavender, melon, or mix.
Later enjoy Japanese traditional lunch bento box served in the bus and then be transferred to the Four Season Hill located in Biei, a small town of Kamikawa prefecture. Four Season Hill is also called "Shikisai-No-Oka" in Japanese; "Shikisai" means "the color of four season" and "oka" mean hills, which is a perfect name for this beautiful hill. There is no better way to embrace the summer of Sapporo by indulging yourself in the colorful flower landscape.
Afterwards head to Shirogane to see the dream-like Blue Pond, also called "Aoiike" in Japanese. Blue Pond contains aluminum hydroxide that turns the pond into dream-like blue color in the sun light. Take a walk around the pond and don't forget to take a lot of photos. The next stop is another beautiful hills called "Zerubu-No-Oka". The name of "ZERUBU" is quite interesting because it combines the last 2 alphabets of 3 individual Japanese words - "kaZE"(breeze), "kaoRU (aroma)", and "asoBU" (play). Visit this beautiful hill and have fun with its breeze and aroma.
Last but not least visit Miyama Pass Overlook and enjoy the beautiful view one more time before returning to Sapporo. On the way a light dinner bento box will be served on the coach bus.
