Enjoy a full-day tour in which you'll see all the main attractions in Rio de Janeiro. Visit Corcovado with the Christ Redeemer Statue, Sugar Loaf Mountain and Historical Center of Rio. Your tour also includes lunch at a Brazilian steakhouse and hotel pickup and drop-off.
After hotel pickup, you'll head to visit Corcovado Hill to see the greatest national icon – The Christ Redeemer Statue of Rio de Janeiro. On the way, you'll see Copacabana beach, Botafogo Soccer Club, Federal University, Guanabara Palace, the official residence of the State´s Governor, Fluminense Soccer Club and São Judas Tadeu Church. You'll then reach Tijuca Forest and stop at Paineiras to board the vehicles of the National Park Authority. The visit to the monument lasts around 45 minutes.
After this visit, you will go to the almost centenary Sugar Loaf cable-car station (the first service in South America and the world´s third oldest). On the way, you will see the Yacht Club, Institute Benjamim Constant, for the blind and the National Institute for Mineral Resources. Visit Urca Hill (200m) and Sugar Loaf (395m) and stay around 30 minutes at the top of Sugar Loaf.
You'll then enjoy lunch at a Churrascaria in Ipanema or a similar Brazilian BBQ restaurant and continue the tour with a panoramic visit of
Maracanã Stadium. You'll then make a stop at Bellini´s statue and a stop at the Sambadrome (the stadium for the city´s main Carnival parade). Continue the tour with a visit to the cone-shaped Metropolitan Cathedral, not only one of the Brazilian city`s landmarks, but also a masterpiece of modern art.
Then, visit the bohemian neighborhood of Lapa, the Escadaria Selarón – one of the most fascinating and original staircases in the world. See the São Bento Monastery, which has been compared to a museum, and has a monastic simplicity making it one of the most beautiful architectural complexes in Brazil. On the way back, along Aterro do Flamengo, you'll see the Museum of Modern Art, the Monument to the Fallen in World War II, the Church of the Outeiro da Glória, the beaches of Flamengo and Botafogo and return to hotels via Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon.
