7.00am: After breakfast at your hotel we depart for the Cameron Highlands. On the way we will visit;
Cascading waterfalls - The waterfalls cascade into a narrow stream where locals go for a cool dip. The nearby shops sell souvenirs, tribal handicrafts, strange herbs, aphrodisiacs and tropical fruits.
Aborigine village - Learn how the locals use the rain forest for their daily foods. You will also get to experience some local traditions.
1130am: We stop for lunch and then continue our tour visiting;
Tea plantation visit - The boh tea plantation was founded by a British businessman Mr J A Russell in 1929. Today boh owns 3 tea estates with 8,000 acres of an undulating, vast carpet of greenery. The tea plantation works closely with the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) and the MNS (Malaysian Nature Society) to help in the conservation of our elephants and orangutan population. A factory tour is also available everyday except on Mondays.
Butterfly Farm & Insectarium - is a secret paradise where 5,000 butterflies dance on ferns and scented flowers. The landscaped gardens, exotic plants, fresh water turtles and insects are stunning.
Strawberry Farm - a do-it-yourself handpick experience of fresh strawberries.
Vegetable and fruits market - take a stroll to see the various vegetables and fruits grown in the Cameron Highlands.
Cactus & flower garden - a wide range of cactus in various shapes and sizes and beautiful flowers that thrive in the Cameron Highlands due to its conducive weather.
5.00pm: We start our return journey back to Kuala Lumpur and your hotel arriving at approximately 8pm.
