Upon arrival, you have to climb a staircase wood to the summit to see a spectacular landscape of two beautiful bays and observe fascinating formations of lava and volcanic cones. You must walk about 600 meters to reach the top, volcanic craters and lava tubes. Along the way you will give the impression that you are walking on the moon.
The hike to the summit takes about 30-40 minutes. Many people and scientists have dubbed Bartolome Island with the name of the guide geology because this Island has a peculiar volcanic origin. When you reach the top of Bartolome you will have one of the best panoramic views of The Galapagos Islands.
