Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Thailand’s Damnern Saduak Floating Market on this full day private or group tour from Bangkok. Visit the largest chedi in Thailand, see a village show, and catch the scent of thousands of flowers at the Rose Garden.Enjoy a 10-hour sightseeing tour from Bangkok to the world-famous floating market of Damnern Saduak, the Rose Garden and the largest chedi in Thailand.
Situated approximately 100 kilometers west of Bangkok, Damnern Saduak is a watery wonderland of boats of all different shapes and sizes, which are still used by merchants to ferry their goods along this Venice of the East. Watch buyers and sellers trading their fruits and vegetables from their floating stores.
The tour also includes a visit to Nakorn Pathom to see the Phra Pathom Chedi, the highest chedi in Thailand. An international buffet lunch will be served at the picturesque Rose Garden Aprime Country Resort. Opened in 1962 to supply Bangkok’s flower markets, the roses attracted visitors who referred to it as “Suan Sampran.” It has now grown into a 70-acre riverside property that is more like a community than a resort.
We then attend a Thai Village show and get a short introduction to the customs of Thai life. Watch colorful Buddhist ordination processions, an elegant fingernail dance, Thai boxing demonstrations, dance performances by hill tribes, sword-fighting, and elephants at work, as well as a traditional Thai wedding ceremony.
