Get ready to explore the amazing Rotorua. Rotorua is New Zealand's ultimate holiday destination for locals and overseas visitors. The tour does not include entrance fees.Your tour will begin with a pickup from your Auckland Hotel. From here, your chauffeur will take you on your way to Rotorua.
Along the way you will enjoy a brief stop at Matamata, famous for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Hobbiton. This town is also a thriving farming area known for horse breeding and training. We will continue on, passing by stunning landscapes and the dense forest of Mamaku Ranges before reaching Rotorua.
We then go to Te Puia to enjoy a traditional Maori welcome followed by a cultural show. Next, you will have a personalized, guided tour to the Pikirangi Maori Village. The Pikirangi Maori Village is a traditional Maori village settlement. Here you can witness the pre-European Maori society.
Following this, you will be taken to the Kiwi House, where you will come face to face with our amazing national bird and have an opportunity to learn more about them.
Once your Kiwi adventures are complete, you will be taken to the Geothermal Valley in Te Whakarewarewa. Explore the Mud Pools and the world famous geysers. Every day in the Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley geysers erupt, mud pools bubble and steam hisses.
You will then be taken to visit the Rotorua city center, where you will see the Government Gardens and Lake Front before visiting the stunning Green and Blue Lake. On the way, explore the famous Redwood Forest.
From here, you will have a choice to either relax in the world of a Polynesian Spa, experience more activities in the city, or Visit Wai o Taupo. After the tour is complete you will be taken back to your Auckland accommodation safely.
