The Alpine Safari Tour is an all-inclusive full-day tour which includes a scenic four-wheel drive adventure, a thrilling jet boat ride, a short nature walk, a Kiwi style barbecue lunch and a return journey from Arthurs Pass to Christchurch on the world famous TranzAlpine Train.Your day will begin with a pickup from your Christchurch accommodation in one of our purpose built land cruises. From there you will be taken into the High Country where you can enjoy a 2-hour off-road adventure on a working sheep and cattle station. Take in the clean mountain air and enjoy the spectacular alpine scenery.

You will then make your way down to the river where you will board the Hamilton Jet to experience the thrills and spins of a 45 minute jet boat ride on the mighty Waimakariri River. After all this excitement you will be taken for a refreshing lunch break. Enjoy a classic Kiwi style barbecue!

After this take a short walk through a Native New Zealand beech forest. Sit back and enjoy a scenic drive through the High Country to Arthurs Pass where you will board the world famous TranzAlpine train back to Christchurch.
