You also will be able to learn the perfect combinations of Sherry wines and the different Andalusian tapas: how they can be combined perfectly and how it should be tasted in each occasion. The city of Jerez is the birthplace of a unique and ancient wine tradition, a perfect destination for experiences to be enjoyed with all five senses. A typical menu is included on the tour with traditional Andalusian food and Sherry Wine (soda for children) and after an intense wine experience, a tour through the city center is also included.

Its unique climatic conditions are ideal for the cultivation of three varieties of grape: the Palomino, used to produce drier types of Sherry, the Pedro Ximénez, and the Moscatel, both of which are used for sweeter varieties. Come with us to see the mysteries of how this distinctive Sherry wine is made, from root to glass.
Sherry, a wine truly unique to the world, is produced exclusively in the wine growing region of Jerez, which is situated in a triangle of land formed by the towns of Jerez de la Frontera, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, and El Puerto de Santa Maria. The unique versatility of this landscape is reflected in the wide range of grapes and wine varieties, each with their own distinctive character. We will arrange a workshop of venencia, where you will learn to use one of the most symbolic artifacts of the winery: the venencia. Once initiated into this art, we will enjoy some Sherry wines. To complete the experience, we will check what you’ve learned with a contest in technique between participants.
Jerez also retains an incredible architectural heritage. In addition to the Cathedral and the Alcazar, you can visit the churches of the Reconquista in the center of the medieval town. The squares of Arenal and Plateros will give you the chance to take a relaxing break before exploring the vibrant medieval quarters to San Miguel and Santiago where the terraces of the bars alternate with the shops.
