Enjoy sailing on the Piscataqua River in a Gundalow boat. Educational and fun, this is a great way to experience the sights and sounds of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. After the cruise enjoy lunch followed by a visit to Stonewall Kitchen, a visit to When Pig’s Fly Bakery for sampling then finally a stop at Nubble Lighthouse to take some photos. The Gundalow boats are shallow draft boats that were used to haul freight along the 12-mile long Piscatqua River. These boats have been recreated to provide educational and fun tours along the river. The boats are easily accessible for seniors and provide a fun way to learn about our maritime heritage. The Gundalow Company is nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to protecting our region's maritime heritage and environment through education and action.

After the cruise enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurant (varies based on availability) followed a visit to Stonewall Kitchen, known as the leading producers of jams, jellies, and relishes in New England. You can walk around and sample the different products. Get a 10% discount is you decide to purchase a product. Next you are off to visit When Pig’s Fly Bakery where you will be able to sample up to 12 different types of fresh baked bread that is available for purchase. The last stop is a short drive to the coast that has a great view of Nubble Lighthouse, which is the 2nd most photographed lighthouse in Maine. At the scenic point, you are free to explore the gift shop, watch artists paint, and grab something from the ice cream stand (at your own expense). Take plenty of pictures!
