You'll first make your way to Tham Plaa National Park, home to the fish cave. This structure is less of a cave and more of a cove, but it is the sacred home to hundreds of Phluang fish, members of the carp family. Admire these blue-colored fish and take in the surrounding serene vibe created by trees and streams.
Next, proceed to the Lahu Na (Black Lahu) hill tribe village, and the nearby Tham Taralod Forest Park, where antiques and prehistoric remains have been found. Take a guided tour of a cave, where you will see the colorful stalagmites and stalactites that decorate the inside.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, before visiting the hill tribe villages of the White Karen and Lisu. Then make your way back to Mae Hong Son.
