Each day’s recipe choices vary from class to class, and details of the exact dishes you’ll be working on are provided on the day. All the classes have been carefully planned, so French-cuisine enthusiasts of all levels have something new to learn.
Master the basics in the 1-hour class, during which you’ll create a main course and dessert suitable for a variety of occasions. In the 1.5-hour class, create a 3-course meal focused on seasonal produce. For more of a challenge, take the 2-hour class to learn technical skills such as preparing a chicken ballotine, cooking ravioli, creating delicate sauces and advanced knife skills. No matter which class option you select, you’ll gain valuable insight into traditional French cooking with guidance and tips from your chef.
Work with a range of different ingredients and cooking styles. Make classic French dishes such as foie gras, duck, lamb, sautéed seasonal vegetables and crème brûlée, and prepare local specialities and bistro dishes that give Lyon its claim to fame as France's culinary capital.
