Meet your guide and the other joggers in Piazza Duomo, home to the elegant Giotto’s Bell Tower and the nearby red-tiled dome of the show-stopping Duomo. Begin with a quick warm-up and stretch, then start jogging through the scenic city's historical center. The pace is moderate, allowing you to take in all the sights and listen to your guide. During the running tour, you’ll take around four brief stops to catch your breath and to soak up the surroundings.

Weave through splendid sunbathed squares, including Piazza della Signoria and Piazza della Repubblica, and see the huge Pitti Palace (Palazzo Pitti), the former home of the powerful Medici family. Your tour leader will point out some of the important historical sites you are passing.

Reach the ancient city walls and begin the ascent toward the famous Piazzale Michelangelo terrace. Push yourself to reach the top of the hill and you’ll be rewarded with some of the best views in Florence. Not only will you be able to see the River Arno, the tower of the Palazzo Vecchio and the rounded dome of the Duomo, but you’ll also soak up stunning views of the Tuscan hills.

After, continue back down into the city center, where your tour concludes at the original start point.
