After a thrilling flightseeing tour from Homer, touch down in Katmai National Park or Lake Clark National Park and hike to a premier vantage point to observe bears in their natural habitat.The day begins at Homer Airport, where you'll sign a waiver, receive a safety briefing and get fit for hip waders. Then take to the skies on a fantastic 45-minute to 90-minute flight -- depending on what park you visit -- over mountains, glaciers, volcanoes and wildlife. On a clear day, you can see up to 10 volcanoes and glaciers along the route.
Land on the coast of Katmai National Park or Lake Clark National Park and walk about a mile from the beach through grassy meadow or tundra to a vantage point to observe bears in their natural habitat. Watch them play, fish, clam and mate in their natural habitat -- a truly unique experience!
