Enjoy a Flatiron smorgasbord for lunch on the Flatiron Food, Architecture & History Tour! Enjoy, food, fun with some interesting history scattered throughout. It's a great way to explore and enjoy some of New York’s best and most unique food stops! See two of New York’s most iconic and picturesque neighborhoods: Flatiron & Union Square. Begin with a tour and tasting at Caffe Lavazza and Eataly, Mario Batali’s epic artisanal Italian food emporium. After experiencing Eataly, we explore Madison Square Park and learn about its incredible history as well as take in some contemporary outdoor sculpture art.
Then, you are rewarded with a burger from arguably one of the best burger joints in New York: Schnippers or Shake Shack! Non-meat eaters will enjoy a veggie sandwich.
Next we stop for history and photo opportunities in front of the famous Flatiron Building. We continue on to Obica Mozzarella Bar for delicious burrata or pizza and then to Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, where, believe-it-or-not, they make cheese right in the middle of Manhattan! Here we enjoy a quick tour and try one of NYC’s best grilled cheese sandwiches.
Then we walk through Union Square and the Union Square Farmer’s Market (Saturday only). The last stop is Bread's Bakery where you will sample their famous chocolate babka warm and fresh from the oven as well as get a behind the scenes bakery tour depending on how busy the bakers are!
