Chef Rita will lead you to the discovery of the richness of art, history and culinary traditions of this unexploited part of Puglia.
Not only a cooking class, but a unique experience through architectural treasures, hidden villages, wonderful landscapes, superb dishes and wines. This daily cookery course starts in Mola, where we'll meet. We will have a pleasant walk across the fruit and vegetable market where we will meet local vendors and select our ingredients directly from the farmers’ houses.
We will then proceed to the masseria (traditional apulian farmhouse) for the morning cooking class: fresh home-made pasta, cooked with vegetables, legumes, taralli, and some cakes for dinner. You will enjoy the lunch with the dishes we have prepared together with family and friends
In the afternoon, after having relaxed (a nap under the beautiful and secular olive groves of the garden is our suggestion !) we will walk back to Mola to the fish market, just in time to choose delicious seafood directly from the fishermen, who use to arrive with their boats before sunset in the little harbour of Mola.
We will then head back to the masseria for the cookery class focused on traditional Apulian fish cuisine! Get ready for a once in a lifetime experience!
The course ends after dinner. Upon request nice and comfortable rooms inside the traditional farmhouse are available for your overnight staying.
