This tour allows you to know the modern Shanghai with a friendly English-speaking guide. Navigating through the city’s streets, explore its diverse neighborhoods, and see sites like Xintiandi, the French Concession, Nanjing Road, and the Bund, where you’ll catch amazing views of the dazzling and iconic skyline. Along the way, your guide will share stories of the landmarks you will pass by. Meet your guide at Shanghai French Concession to receive your bike and helmet. From there, you’ll begin the 11-mile (or 18 km) bike tour. You’ll pass People’s Square, Nanjing Road, Tianzifang, and Maoming Road.

Cycling through the Shanghai French Concession, the former French Concession, a beloved tree-lined neighborhood, to find some of Shanghai's best dumplings. The area still boasts some French cafes and churches.

You will also bike along Tianzifang, an area well-known for its small craft stores, coffee shops, trendy art studios, French bistros, and narrow alleys. Here, you will see the creative side of Shanghai.

Venture through a similar area, Xintiandi, whose pedestrian lanes offer some of the best shopping, dining and entertainment in Shanghai. From here on, head toward the Bund, where you’ll catch spectacular views of the dazzling cityscape. The bund is lined with impressive neo-classical buildings, dating back to Shanghai’s grandest days. Many banks and trading companies from the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Italy, Russia, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands and Belgium built impressive offices here in the early 20th century when Shanghai was the financial capital of Asia. The boulevard was also home to the Masonic Club, the Shanghai Club, and the consulates of Russia and the United Kingdom.

You will end this tour by taking back to Shanghai French Concession.
