Visit Naggar village, which lies on the left bank of the river Beas and is beautifully surrounded by the magnificent mountains, waterfalls and snow covered ranges. It has scenic view on the entire Kullu valley and is known for the impressive cultural heritage and rich architectural style.The local guide will pick you up from your hotel in Manali and transfer to Naggar Village. Upon arrival you will hear about the historic traditions and cultural heritage of this village. After that you will visit Naggar Castle, which was built by Raja Bhosal and functions as a hotel nowadays. Later, continue to Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery, who was a famous artist. He settled in Naggar and lived there for nearly 20 years until his death. His entire property is now converted to an art gallery of his paintings.

After the gallery make a stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Later on, proceed to Gauri Shankar Temple, a pyramidal construction on a raised platform, with square at the base and a dome above. The stones used are richly engraved. The temple consists of the idol of Gauri-Shankar installed inside of it. It is a protected monument. After the temple visit you can explore a bit more a rural life and day-to-day activities of locals before being transferred back to your hotel.
