The Defence of Darwin Experience is included in your tour, gaining you access to the interactive exhibit outlining Darwin's WWII story from 1932-1945. See the WWII Oil Storage Tunnels, which were built by the Civil Construction Corps. This unique tourist attraction located in the Darwin Wharf Precinct was reopened in 1992 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Bombing of Darwin.
Take your time to enjoy the NT Museum and Art Gallery, located in the suburb of Fannie Bay before making your way to Fannie Bay Gaol, last housing inmates in 1979.
See the award winning displays at the Darwin Aviation Heritage Centre, along with the 19 different types of aircraft that are on display.
From Monday - Friday you will be able to enter the Qantas Hanger and learn about how Darwin was an important link between Europe and Australia before the days of modern aircraft. On Saturday's you will be lucky enough to have a look around the Parap Village Markets.
There is also a second vehicle used on this tour which is an air conditioned bus, allowing you options to travel in comfort all year round.
