The Park offers safe and easy trails that allow the whole family to participate, to the challenging tracks and trails specifically for those who enjoy their walking!The day starts in Galway, where you will be picked up at the New Coach Station in central Galway at 9.00am (transportation is included in this package). The bus will take you to the beautiful village Letterfrack.
You will arrive Letterfrack at 11.05am and we suggest to explore the village before making your way to the National Park. At the visitor centre you have the opportunity to view a exhibition on Connemara landscape (multi-lingual) or to join a audio visual show (multi-lingual). With this package you will get a voucher to have lunch at the Connemara National Park Tea Room, you just have to present it.
After lunch you will start to walk up to the Diamond Hill. The hike takes approximately 3 hours, so please do not start later than 3.00pm. On the walk you will explore the parks fauna and flora such as beautiful Peacock Butterflies, red deers or some of the famouse Connemara Ponys. When you reach the top of the Diamond Hill you will have a stunnig view over the National Park, the village Letterfrack and the wild Atlantic. Before ending the route, take your time to appreciate this unique area and breathe in the pleasant air of the wild west of Ireland.
You will depart from Letterfrack back to central Galway at 6.05pm, where you will arrive at 8.00pm.
