You will also explore Beijing’s ancient hutong alleyways by rickshaw, wind your way through the maze of narrow streets teeming with life of old Beijing. In addition, you will enjoy a delectable home-cooked Chinese lunch at a local family's home. After lunch, you'll take rickshaw for 20 minutes to visit Hutongs. This private tour will show you some highlights in Beijing. You will walk through Tian'anmen Square to Forbidden City. You will discover imperial riches from the Ming and Qing Dynasties and easily conjure up visions of life in the days of Imperial China. See gorgeous landscapes at Jingshan Park. You will also explore Beijing’s ancient hutong alleyways by rickshaw, wind your way through the maze of narrow streets teeming with life of old Beijing. In addition, you will enjoy a delectable home-cooked Chinese lunch at a local family's home. After lunch, you'll take rickshaw for 20 minutes to visit Hutongs. Afterwards, you'll have some leisure time along Shichahai Bar Area.In the morning, your professional guide will pick you up at your hotel in Beijing. If your hotel is closed to Tian’anmen, our guide will accompany you to walk along Chang’an Avenue to Tian'anmen Square. If the hotel is not closed to Tian’anmen Square, our guide will escort you to take subway to get to Tian’anmen Square,

See Monument to the People’s Heroes, Great Hall of the People and the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. Spend time learning about and taking photos of the square, the Tian'anmen Gate and the Forbidden City in the background.

Then, your guide will lead you to the Forbidden City, a Chinese imperial palace that served as a political center of the Chinese government for almost 500 years. Tour inside its various halls and the Imperial Garden, where you can admire elaborate Chinese garden landscaping. Walk through the north gate with your guide and on to Jingshan Park. Enjoy unobstructed views of the Forbidden City, Bell and Drum Towers and the Bird's Nest. Marvel at the park’s elaborate pavilions and colorful peony garden and enjoy the sight of both locals and tourists enjoying activities like the ribbon dance.

Next, take a taxi to a Beijing hutong (or take Tuk-Tuk), a narrow alleyway lined by traditional courtyard residences. Experience how the locals live by hopping into a rickshaw and going for a ride through the city's ancient streets. Listen as your guide shares accounts of traditional culture and daily life.

You will arrive at a local family hutong where will serve you a delicious home-cooked meal for lunch. After lunch, taking one-hour rickshaw ride, you’ll be dropped off at Yinding Bridge. Our guide will accompany you stroll along Houhai Bar area to admire the vast scenery or enjoy the cool shade under willow trees. Our guide will introduce you two old restaurant brands here: One is Kao Rou Ji, a restaurant selling roast meat, which has a history of over 150 years; The other is Bao Du Zhang, which has sold cooked tripe of sheep for four generations. You could take this chance to taste the local flavors.

After all visits, you will have some free time to stroll along Shichahai Bar area.

At the end of your tour, you will take subway back to your Beijing hotel (all transportation fees excluded).
