Dominated by Hispanic-influenced architecture, the city was built by Muslim refugees from Spain in the 15th century.The day trip begins in Tangier at 09:00 AM you will be picked up from Tangier Cruise terminal or your centrally located hotel in Tangier and taken in an air-conditioned minibus for a private sightseeing tour of Tetouan. There are about 70 kilometres between Tangier and Tétouan. Once you arrive in Tétouan, you’ll go on a walking sightseeing tour through the old and modern town. You’ll visit the souk, the Jewish quarter and Spanish area of the protectorate. Plaza Primo de Rivera and Plaza de España both stand out.
