Visit to Ephesus, one of the world famous archeological site, also probably the best preserved Classical cities in Europe.
Have a nice time walking in the wide streets surrounding the ruins of the city.  Temple of Artemis (Diana) is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Temple of Artemision in Ionia at Ephesus in Turkey, became one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

The oldest remaining found dates back to 6th century BC. It was surrounded by 36 huge columns, later enlarged upon the orders of the Lydian King, Kreisos during the 6th Century BC. Most of the exhibits in the London British Museum belong to this period.New Artemis temple was built in the 2nd century BC. It was located on top of the previous one and had tremendous dimensions like 121 columns of each 17,5 meters high. Enjoy your lunch in the town before traveling to the House of the Virgin Mary, a site that is thought to be the place where the Virgin Mary spent her final days.

This stone house, which was built in Apostolic Age, could be described as a small modest chapel. At the entrance, the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary greets the visitors. On the right there’s a smaller room which was believed to be the room where the Virgin Mary had slept. The House of Virgin Mary was found in the 19th century with the help of the descriptions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich who was a Roman Catholic nun and visionary. The House of Virgin Mary, a Catholic shrine, gained the Apostolic Blessing of the fist pilgrimage in 1896 by Pope Leo XIII. It is accepted by the Catholic pilgrims that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was taken to this house by Saint John and lived there till her Assumption / Dormition.
