Get to know the Embera culture, trek through the jungle, have a ride in an Embera canoe, eat their typical food and you can do all this in a single day. The Embera Reserve is just 1-hour away from Panamá City. You will have the opportunity to learn about their way of life.
This is a 6-hours tours.The experience starts by picking you up at 7:30 am at the lobby of your hotel, from there we will take you to the Embera Reserve.
It will be a 1-hour driving, once we get to the port we will have an upriver ride (15 minutes ride) through the Chagres River and the Panamanian Jungle.
Once we get in the Embera Reserve, the Emebera Indians will tell you how they hunt, fish and treat their sick and much more.
You will see their traditional dances, how they produce their body paintings, woven baskets, plates and masks.
Then you will be able to eat their typical food, fried fish and Patacones, and we can go to a waterfall, after a ride of 20 minutes in the canoe, we will have to walk around 30 minutes to get to it.
Then around 1:30 pm we will take you to your hotel.
