A brief intro on lenses, camera settings and techniques for shooting this area and for those coming at night astro techniques will be discussed as we start the tour. We will take the Midland Trail & Black Bear trail along the lakeside. This is a relatively easy hike with short elevation gains. We will hike less than a mile to our main location to photograph from. All along these trails giant boulders and rock formations jut out into the lake creating a very dramatic scene. Multiple vantage points surround the area and participants may feel free to explore.
