Join this small-group day cruise to explore the Elaphiti Islands, a small archipelago consisting of several islands stretching northwest of Dubrovnik, in the Adriatic sea. Beside a clear blue water, sandy beaches and wonderful nature, there are historical monuments on the islands that you’d love to see.Elaphiti Islands attract large numbers of tourists during summer season due to their beaches and pristine scenery. Šipan – the farthest and largest island in terms of area and population. It also has two settlements. Lopud – second in size and best known for its sandy beaches, it is located between Šipan and Koločep islands. It's well developed in terms of tourism infrastructure. Koločep – is the closest island to Dubrovnik, located 5 kilometres (3 miles) from the Dubrovnik harbour at Gruž is used to be an important shipbuilding site in the Republic of Ragusa period. It is one of the most indented and the southernmost permanently inhabited Croatian island.
You will be picked up from your hotel or nearby stop (if you are in a private accommodation) in the morning and transferred to Gruž port to board a small ship. First island to visit is Koločep, with great pebble beaches where you can swim, snorkel or walk around and explore. Second stop is Lopud, there is also pebble beach with great small houses of locals, as well as centuries old nobel summer houses, Franciscan monastery and Gjorgic Mayneri Park. Šipan is a third island that you’ll visit to see 16-century family summer villa Skočibuha, and it's just one of many stops that you need to make here. After returning to Gruž port you will be transferred back to your hotel.
