This is the gateway to Cascada El Limón, a 150-foot (45-meter) waterfall set amid the lush tropical foliage of the peninsula’s highlands.
Your guide will pair you with a horse for your 45-minute ride to the waterfall. While your horse crosses rivers and navigates the rugged forest terrain, you can look around and soak up the gorgeous scenery. When you arrive at the falls, you have two hours to enjoy the natural swimming hole and relax in the tranquil surroundings. Then return to El Limón by horseback, and head back to Samaná, stopping along the way to eat lunch and chat with locals.
