Visit the archaeological site of Ek-Balam, an ancient Maya city that

800 AC). This archaeological site is one of the latest attractions
because of its most recent restoration. Discover the biggest Cenote in
the Yucatan: Cenote Maya, a great natural pool with beautiful rock

Your tour begins with hotel pickup from Cancun. Board a vehicle and drive to Ek-Balam arriving at approximately 10am. Once there, you'll enjoy a tour of this of one of the most impressive ceremonial centers in the Yucatan peninsula. You will witness the incredible decoration of temples and plazas. Admire the unique sculptures in high relief that have surprised archaeologists. These sculptures support the recently restored jaguar mouth sculpture in the front of the main temple. Imagine the rituals that took place in the ball game (Pok Ta Pok) and walk through the false arch, one of the architectural icons of the Maya culture.
Then, visit and refresh at a Cenote Maya. You'll descend into the region’s most impressive Cenote of 60 meters in diameter through a large wooden staircase made with the ancient Maya technique. Enjoy its beautiful rock formations and swim in this large natural pool. Ascend from the underworld through a tunnel to reach the park gardens.
During your visit, you have optional and included adventure activities such as diving, Trepachanga (ropes), Tarzan vine and rappel down 26 meters. You can also visit a Maya Hut and learn about the architecture in the region and the use of plants for medical purposes. You'll then visit a small and colorful market where you can find good handcrafts and benefit Maya artisans of the region and then witness a Maya ritual to discover natural wonders of the region. You can also visit the organic garden and walk through the plantation to discover plants, fruits and vegetables that you will find in your meal.
Top-off your visit with a delicious Maya Buffet lunch including different traditional dishes such as chaya totillas, beans, vegetables rice, chicken, hand-made tortillas, fruits and flavored water. At approximately 5:30pm to 6:30pm, you'll arrrive at your hotel in Cancun.
