Ek Balam and Hubiku Cenote Combo Tour

Visit the archaeological site of Ek’Balam which is one of the latest Mayan archaeological attractions because of its most recent restoration works. You will then discover Hubiku cenote (sinkhole) which is a natural wonder with beautiful rock formations. You will be able to experience different adventure activities on this tour. This special combo runs every Thursday.You will be picked up from your hotel in Cancun and head to Ek Balam. Here, you will visit the site and admire the amazing decoration of the temples and plazas. See unique sculptures and learn about the recently restored Jaguar Mouth sculpture in the front of the main temple. Walk through the ball game (Pok Ta Pok) and the false arch, which are architectural icons of the Maya culture.

You will then head to Cenote Hubiku which is an impressive sinkhole where you can admire incredible rock formations and swim in this large and fresh natural pool. Ascend from the underworld through a tunnel or use the large wooden staircase. Some optional activities here include swimming and diving.

You'll then head to a Maya hut to learn about the architecture of the region and be part of a Maya ritual which is an authentic blessing Maya ceremony that a shaman will perform for you. You'll end the tour with a delicious and traditional lunch with a Maya menu including soup, chicken, vegetables, rice, beans and hand-made corn tortillas. Then, head back to your Cancun hotel.
