Enjoy short walks and visit sacred rock art sites and exclusive access to a fossil field known as "The Sphinx".Your day at Eastern MacDonnell Ranges includes both Emily and Jessie Gap rock art displaying a major Dreaming story of the region, the Yeperenye (Caterpillar) Dreaming. Stop for a walk at the outstanding Corroboree Rock and Trephina Gorge Nature Park, check out Ross River Homestead where you will also tuck into a homestead style lunch. The group has exclusive access to parts of the Ross River cattle station that is visited by no other tour groups. This tour is run by a family owned and local business.
You will get some amazing photo opportunities standing in front of Australia's largest Ghost Gum, or take a swim in an outback oasis water hole (summer months only).
