Embark on an exciting Dune Buggy Tour in Fuerteventura. Enjoy a 6 hour tour starting from Costa Calma and stop by wonderful locations such as La Lajita, Marco Sanchez, Tesejerague, Ajuy, Playa de Garcey and Sotavento! Make this a journey to remember! The Dune Buggy Tour starts in Costa Calma and runs for about 130km through beautiful and hidden locations of the island. You will have fun driving a monster Buggy and discovering oasis and beaches to restore your soul. This tour willl take you to visit some of the most beautiful beaches and landscapes of the island. Driving a buggy 1100 cc and 70 HP from Costa Calma, going North-Est to “La Lajta”, where you will have a first stop. A short warm up before the ride into the Mars like landscape of Tesejerague: nice red and dusty road! You will then move towards “Ajuy”, a small village in the west side, where before lunch, in a restaurant, you will visit its black sandy beach.
Hereafter, you will ride an amazing off road path that will lead you to the beach of “Garcey”, where you can have a free time for chill, swim and have some fun into a cave that opens on the beach. With some luck you can see what is left of the American Star, a transatlantic grounded in front of that beach in 1994.
On the way back, you will pass through Costa Calma and reach the “Mirador del Sotavento”, a promontory that dominate one of the most famous beaches of the island, where the World Championship of windsurf and kite surf take place.
The depart from Costa Calma is scheduled at 10:00 am and the return (to Costa Calma) around 4:00 - 4:15 pm.
Pick up time in Costa Calma is around 9:30 am; Jandia/Tarajalejo will be around 9:00/9:10 am. Drop off just after the arrival.
