To give a stamp of authenticity, all the tour guides for this experience are local Emiratis whose families have all been connected in some way or another to Dubai and its history.After arriving to the Dubai Historical District which is spread across the neighborhoods of Bur Dubai, Al Fahidi, Shindagha and Deira, you will visit Heritage Village, Shaikh Saeed House and the walk through one of the oldest souk - spice souk as well as visiting various other landmarks.
It is also not only about seeing these places, but also the local experience, In the Heritage Village, it is highly possible that you will see elderly Emiratis baking traditional raqaq, khameer and chebab bread and also preparing coffee for a Majlis. You will also learn about various types of construction needed by coastal and mountain communities and the nomadic Bedouin of the desert.
