This production is the result of a cooperation with the National Heritage Institute in Pardubice and the Académie Desprez. Experience an atmosphere similar to the opera’s world premiere that took place on 29 October 1787 at the very same Opera House: Estates Theatre in Prague.
Not only did the Maestro conduct his masterpiece himself, he also played the harpsichord accompaniment. Therefore the Estates Theatre is also called 'Mozart's Theater'. The stage direction, combined with the period decorations including the lighting recreate an authentic opera experience of the production as it was first presented. This performance is one of the best cultural events in Prague!
