You can also choose between macro dive sites such as nudibranchs, frogfish and crustaceans. Alternatively choose coral reef areas with sharks, turtles, schools of fish and different coral.

Enjoy two certified dives at Padangbai on this half day PADI scuba diving experience. You can dive at Padangbai's Blue Lagoon, White Sand Beach, Shark Point, Tanjung Sari or Jepun sites. You can also choose between macro dive sites such as nudibranchs, frogfish and crustaceans. Alternatively choose coral reef areas with sharks, turtles, schools of fish and different coral.Located only a few minutes from Padangbai's harbor by boat. You are able to come back to shore to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in between dives.
Groups of 4 divers maximum will be with each professional instructor. This is for your safety and enjoyment. Private guiding is optional.
The Coastal reef has a maximum depth of 25 metres with a slope, wall, jetty and even a wreck. The 8 dive sites offer a diversity of different environments and species.
Padangbai dive sites include Blue Lagoon, Jepun, Secret Jepun, Secret Jetty, Labuhan Amok, Tanah Ampoe, White Sand Beach, Ferry Channel, Tanjung Sari, Temple and more.
The state of the Coral Reef has a good variety of hard and soft corals, various types of gorgonians, healthy staghorn corals, huge coral boomies and table corals at White Sand Beach, Tanjung Sari and Blue Lagoon dive sites. Other sites like Secret Jetty or Secret Jepun are muck dive sites and have very little coral cover, but tons of critters. Great for macro lovers and photographers.
There are hundreds of different species of fish both small and large which can be seen from any given dive site. You may see Oriental sweet lips, moray eels, many species of clownfish and anemone fish, napoleon wrasses, trevallies, jackfish, dogtooth tunas, king mackerels, crocodile fish, lionfish, octopus, pharaoh cuttlefish and green turtles.
Macro critters you may see include frogfish, ornate, robust and ghost pipefish, leaf scorpionfish, pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs and flabelinas, siagian squat lobsters, orangutan crabs, zebra crabs and other rare crustaceans.
You will also have a high chance of seeing sharks including whitetip, blacktip reef, nurse and wobbegong at some of the dive sites including Tanjung Sari/Shark Point or Ferry Channel.
The current is generally of a mild to moderate level, but strong when there is a new moon. These are usually good conditions for beginners. The best time for visibility is between June to October where you can see up to 25+ metres.
(8:00am) You will arrive at the Padangbai dive centre where you will meet your guide and group members. You will do the paperwork, prepare your equipment and enjoy a complimentary hot beverage.
(8:30am) Hop on the dive boat and depart for your first dive at a dive site just minutes away.
(10:00am) Head back to the dive centre for snacks and beverages
(11:00am) Take your second dive of the morning at a different dive site.
(12:30pm) Have a shower and get changed before enjoying your complimentary lunch. There is a mix of Indonesian and Western options to choose from including vegetarian options.
