You will dive not only once as usually during Discover Scuba Diving, but twice in the open ocean! - at famous Underwater Museum (MUSA) with over 500 permanent life-size sculptures and later on at beautiful Manchones Reef.A PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is a great way to find out what scuba diving is really like before you take the full scuba certification course. With one of our PADI Instructors you will enter the shallow end of the pool with all the equipment that divers use to dive in the sea and you will learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive. After a pool session you will be diving in the open waters under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.
First dive will be held at famous Underwater Museum (Museo Subacuatico de Arte) which consists of over 500 permanent life-size sculptures and is one of the largest and most ambitious underwater artificial art attractions in the world.
For the second ocean dive we will bring you to Manchones Reef which is one of the best dive sites for all level of divers and underwater photographers. With over 800 meters of reef, you’ll see terrific fields of elk horn, stag horn and brain coral! The vibrant colors of the reef and abundant schools of blue tangs, wrasse, grunts, and snappers enchant the most experienced of divers. The large parrot, queen angel fish, and spotted trunkfish also make it a spectacular dive. Manchones Reef is also home to the Cruz de la Bahia (Cross of the Bay) which was placed at Manchones August 17, 1997.
The whole experience lasts around 3 hours.
To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.
