Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear. Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater. Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive. Have fun swimming around and exploring and most importantly have the time of your life.
Discover Scuba Diving day is divided in 3 parts:
Short Theory: With the help of a flip chart or a video, we will explain you a certain amount of theory and we'll make sure that you understand the important rules of diving. The lesson will be short and concise, designed to inform you, but not to confuse you.
Pool: Your professional instructor will demonstrate the basic skills required to dive. Once you have had a chance to see how it all works in the water, it will be your turn to give it a go. Under the ever watchful eye of your instructor you will see your diving skill level develop in this safe learning environment. The pool session will prepare you for the exciting dives.
Ocean Dives: When you are comfortable with the skills, you will dive among marine life in amazing shallow reefs off the coast of Playa Del Carmen. Your air gauge will be carefully monitored, to ensure that you don’t get low on air. The dive will last about 45 minutes, depending on your comfort level. You will be surprised by how quickly you will relax!
