Get the chance to discover the ancient city of Luxor on two consecutive days. On the first day you will visit west bank including colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut temple. On the second day you will visit east bank including Karnack and Luxor temples. Day 1 Tour:
The tour guide will get you from your hotel/ cruise (accommodation) with a private air-conditioned coach. You will go to visit The Valley of the Kings: the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial. There are many kings buried in this valley. The most known tomb is King Tut-Ankh-Amon tomb. The Valley of the Kings is one of the most popular tourist sites in the world, and people flock here in huge numbers. Whilst you are on the way to the valley you will see the two colossal statues of Memnon on the side of the road. You will then carry on to the Temple of Hatshepsut: one of the most striking monuments in Egypt. Queen Hatshepsut was the famous female ruler of Egypt. She posed as a male to gain the throne. The most unique scenes on the walls of the temple were for her expedition to Somalia. Returning to Luxor there will be time for a brief photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, which mark the remains of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III.
After tour you will be driven back to your hotel/cruise.
Day 2 Tour:
The tour guide will get you from your hotel/ cruise (accommodation) with a private air-conditioned couch. Start with a visit to The Temples of Karnack, the biggest temple complex in the world, covering an area of 100 hectares. On entering the Temples you will see each legacy left by the various pharaohs as the complex grew even larger. The deeper you go into the complex, the further back in time you will travel, with the oldest ruins dating back over 3,000 years. Then visit the Great Hypostyle Hall, with its 102 meters wide and 53 meters long and 134 columns towering above, was called the columns forest. At the rear of the complex lies the sacred lake, where centuries ago, pharaohs and their offerings to the gods were purified.
