There is a $1.00 per person entrance fee into the Diamond Head crater or $5.00 for parking. There are only 78 parking spaces within the Diamond Head crater, to avoid the busy morning period, you may want to consider going in the slower afternoon period between noon and 6pm (4:30pm last admission for hiking).
