On this full-day tour you will visit some of the highlights of the Cappadocia region with your guide. Next, travel to your first stop the Derinkuyu Underground City. This city is one of the deepest and most fascinating multilevel underground settlements in Cappadocia. The incredible underground world contains courtyards, stables, churches and wineries all intertwined in an extensive network of tunnels.
From there go to the Ihlara Valley and walk about 4 km (approx. 2.5 miles) along the Melendiz River to explore the hidden cave churches. At the end of the hike is the Belisirma Village. In the village you will have lunch at a local restaurant near the river.
After lunch there will be a short photo stop at Yaprakhisar Panorama the location where some of the scenes from the Star Wars movies were filmed, and the viewpoint of unforgettable views of the cave village.
End the tour with a visit to the Selime Monastery, one of the biggest and most fascinating religious settlements in Cappadocia. This complex was carved into the rock face by monks during the 13th century.
At the end of this spectacular day of sightseeing, you will be returned to your hotel at around 5pm.
