Enjoy this one day tour to Izunokuni Panorama Park at Shizuoka prefecture to enjoy shopping and a buffet lunch. Take a ride on a short cruise at Suruga Bay to enjoy the beautiful view of Mt Fuji and also to experience the strawberry picking at Izu. You can even observe the making of Wasabi (Japanese horseradish paste), partake in shopping at Mishima Wasabi factory, and view the Mishima Taisha Shrine.
Your day trip will begin at the meeting point and pickup by a coach bus. After pickup, drive though the express way to reach Izunokuni Panorama Park at the Shizuoka prefecture. Walk around the park and enjoy shopping where many Japanese local cooking ingredients are sold for approx. 50 minutes. You can enjoy the buffet lunch, which includes a variety of raw fish dishes, sushi, and other Shizuoka local specialty foods for another 50 minutes as well.
After lunch, get picked up by a coach bus and head to Numazu-shi, where there is a small town called "Mito" near Suruga Bay. From there, the tour conductor will bring you to a small beach "Mitohama" ,where you can experience a ride on a short cruise at Suruga Bay. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Mt Fuji from the cruise for 20 minutes.
After your cruise, jump on the coach bus and continue head to the strawberry farm at Izu. There, you will pick strawberries and eat a few fresh sweet ones for 30 minutes. After the activity, continue to head to Yamamoto foods Mishima Wasabi factory. You can experience the making of Wasabi (Japanese horseradish paste) and also you can take your time to shopping at the factory's shops.
Once the group has finished shopping and touring the Mishima Wasabi factory, continue to head to Mishima Taisha Shrine, which holds over 1000 years of history. Mishima Taisha Shrine is the most famous at Izu visit for the sake of agriculture, business and fishery. End of March to Middle of April is the best season to go Mishima Taisha Shrine for the incredible view of sakura cherry blossom with the magnificent shrine. After that, you will head back to Tokyo by a coach bus.
