Saona Island is currently the most popular excursion offered in the Dominican Republic. The island is the quintessential tropical beach with swaying palm trees, bone white sand and lapping turquoise waters. Enjoy complimentary drinks, lunch, playing and relaxing on the beautiful beaches of this amazing island. Saona Island (Isla Saona) is a popular 42 square kilometer Caribbean oasis off the southern coast of the Dominican Republic. The island is full of quintessential tropical beaches with swaying palm trees, bone white sand and lapping turquoise waters.

Your day will begin with pickup from your Punta Cana hotel. From there, you will take a drive to the charming fishing village of Bayahibe, where we will board an incredible catamaran bound for Saona Island. The island offers plenty of lounge chairs on the beach, lots of souvenir shacks, and the most beautiful scenery. Spend the morning taking in the natural beauty is of this national park with its pristine white beaches and the marvelous clear Caribbean waters. Enjoy activities such as volleyball, meringue and salsa dancing, and an open bar.

A delicious barbecue, buffet-style lunch will also be served including lobster, BBQ chicken, steamed fish, spaghetti, salad, potatoes, rice, vegetables, tropical fruit and french bread.

After lunch you will head back to the mainland on a speedboat. On the way back, we will stop at the incredible "Natural Pool". This stop allow you to swim in clear, waist deep water and take pictures of the star fish - there's a lot of them around. Upon your return to the Dominican Republic mainland you will be returned to your Punta Cana hotel.
