Enjoy this day trip visit to Shizuoka prefecture from Shinjuku by coach bus. You will stop by Yaizu, a small town which located beside the Suruga Bay. You can enjoy a fresh fish lunch and shopping at the restaurant. After lunch, you will visit the main destination where you can take a ride on the steam locomotive, Oigawa Railway SL Train at Ieyama Station. You can refresh with the splendid view of Cherry Blossoms planted along the road, also known as the Sakura Tunnel of Ieyama.Once you are picked up from the designated meeting point, you will head to Yaizu in Shizuoka prefecture where you can enjoy a fresh fish lunch including a fatty tuna stew dish, maguro sashimi, hand-rolled sushi and crab soup. After lunch, you can walk around the restaurant where there is a souvenir shop.
Then, you will continue to head to the Sakura Tunnel of Ieyama where you can walk through the road which is covered by Cherry Blossoms that are along the road. You can feel refreshed by walking through this dreamy flower tunnel.
After about a half an hour, you'll take a small walk to the next location where you will experience riding a steam locomotive of the Oigawa Railway SL Train in Ieyama Station. Take another ride for 30-minutes and enjoy the view of cherry blossoms that surround the railway.*Please note that infants (under 2) are required to pay a separate, small fee for the steam locomotive ride on the day of departure.
Once you reach the final station of Shinkanaya Station, you will be picked up by a coach bus and head back to Shinjuku.
