Go ahead visit Aswan high dam, a rock fill dam built across the River Nile at Aswan between 1960-1970 to control the Nile Floods and the produce electricity. Enjoy a motor boat ride to Philae Temple Island, the earliest monuments on the island date to the reign of the last native Egyptian Pharaoh Nectanebo II, while the largest structure on the island is the Temple of Isis, Goddess of magic and healing.
