After Figueres we are going to visit Girona, where you will have free time to have lunch. After lunch our guide will show you the most impressive monumental area of the city in a walking tour around the old wall, the Medieval quarter, the bridges over the Onyar River and the most well preserved Jewish quarter of Europe, the Call. Private tour, from Barcelona to visit the Dalí Museum in Figueres and Girona city. Our guide will accompany you inside the museum to better understand the Dalí works and how his life explains the evolution of his work. After Figueres we are going to visit Girona, where you will have free time to have lunch. After lunch our guide will show you the most impressive monumental area of the city in a walking tour around the old wall, the Medieval quarter, the bridges over the Onyar River and the most well preserved Jewish quarter of Europe, the Call. At 9,00am we will pick you up at your hotel in Barcelona city to start this Private tour. You will have a Van, a driver and a local guide only for you. Wenever possible we do transfers by highway so we can reach our destination as soon as possible.
We will reach Figueres at 10,45am to visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum. Our guide will accompany you inside the Museum to better understand Dalí's world. You will have the oportunity to dive into the work of the more important master of surrealism. Discover the work of Salvador Dalí as he wanted to teach it to the world. Designed by himself the Museum-Theatre Dalí shows the magical world of the artist.
01,30pm we are going to arrive to Girona. You will have time enough to have lunch and after lunch our guide will pick you up at the restaurant to start the walking tour.
Girona is a city for walking, to discover little by little, to feel its history in every corner, in every building, every stone.
We will give a more than two hour walk around the old city, you will discover the Call (Jewish quarter) with its most significant streets as Cundaro and Sant Llorenç, the Museum of history of the Jews, the situation of the synagogue over time, the Kabbalistic school and explain how life was organized in the Call (the Aljama). The most monumental part we will see the Church of Sant Feliu, the Cul de la Lleona, the Church of Sant Lluc (headquarters of the Manaies de Girona), Arabian baths, Sobreportes door, the Girona Cathedral, the archaeological gardens. We will go up to the old wall where we can see a beautiful view of the city, the Church and monastery of Sant Domènec, University of Las Àligues. Then, we will descend towards La Rambla and the bridges over the river Onyar (Pont de Pedra, Pont Eiffel, Pont de la Princesa) and houses overlooking the River, with its colors so characteristic.
During the tour we will also explain some of the best known legends of the city.
When the tour finishes we are going to come back to Barcelona.
